Mishawaka's Sam Schrader ran for 2 TDs, while Matt Eppers kicked 3 FGs for Central. Mishawaka rushed for 423 yards while Central had 248 passing yards. FINAL SCORE - Mishawaka 32-15 over Elkhart Central
Marian at St. Joseph * This inter-city cathoilc school rivalry game is at the new Walter Bly Field where the host Indians (NIC 2-0, 3-2) take on thetvisiting Knights (NIC 2-1, 4-1). This version of the Holy War goes to the host Indians, 35-21 as the Indians scored 3 touchdowns after a 2nd quarter 14-14 tie score. Marian added a late score to close the scoring. St. Joseph got 2 TDs for Conner Edmonds, catching 1 TD pass from Matt Monserez and picked a Marian pass off and returned 28 yards for a score in the 1st quarter. Marian's Michael Whitfield scored twice for the Knights. FINAL SCORE - St. Joseph 35-21 over Marian Penn at SB Washington * at School Field League leading Penn (NIC 2-0, 4-10 is looking to remain undefeated in the league as they travel to School Field to take on SB Washington (NIC 0-3, 1-4), who has dropped a pair of one point games the last two weeks. Penn's Zach Oakley tallied 3 TDs for Penn as the Kingsmen broke the game open in third quarter. Oakley was also 11 of 15 passing. Daigien Morgan of Washington threw 2 TD passes for the Panthers. FINAL SCORE - Penn 43-15 over SB Washington
SB Adams at SB Riley * at Jackson Field Despite losing two early games to forfeits, Adams looks to stay unbeaten in the NIC as they travel to Jackson Field to take on the Riley Wildcats. Riley (NIC 0-2, 1-4) looks to knock the Eagles from their 2-0 NIC mark, 3-2 overall record. Adams got four TDs by Gavin Miller as the Eagles dominated the Wildcats at Jackson Field and remain unbeaten in the NIC. Riley got a 69 TD run from Thaddeus Phillips and Patrick Curran recoverd a fumble in the end zone for a Wildcat TD. FINAL SCORE - SB Adams 36- 14 over SB Riley
SB Clay at Elkhart Memorial - non-conference game SB Clay travels to Elkhart Memorial in a non-conference match-up. Clay (NIC 0-3, 2-3) looks to find answers after dropping three straight NIC games. Memorial is winless after 5 games. Anthony Taborn of Clay tallied 3 TDs for the Colonials to even their record overall at 3-3. FINAL SCORE - SB Clay 21-0 over Elkhart Memorial
