Northeast Wins Opening Jamboree Game

The Northeast Raider Football Team kicked off the season with a 26-0 win over Macon County Friday night in their jamboree. Offensively the raiders were led by a balance scoring attack as four different running backs scored touchdowns. Touchdown runs by King, Whisby, Jackson and Pleasant were aided by a great effort from the offensive line and strong quarterback play.  Defensively the raiders held Macon county in check and did not allow them to cross the 50 yard line all night.  Treze Williams and Shannon Hand led highlight worthy hits and timely pass breakups, with Hand hauling in one interception. The offense will be led by Dionte Towles and the Defense will be led by Juantreze Williams
