NCXC Update Week 5

The Panthers went into the FlashRock Invitational this weekend unranked.  With the new format, the top teams from last year plus any team currently ranked in the top 25 would run in the same race. (The Championship Race),  All others would run the Invitational Race after .  The Panthers finished 11^th ahead of 3 or those ranked teams in the Championship Race. 

James Huffman once again led the Panthers with a 12^th place overall finish in an outstanding time of 15:47 which places James 12^th on North Central’s All-Time 5K chart.  Solomon Rice also finished well in a time of 16:08 which places him 31^st on NC’s All-Time list.  Another huge personal record was set yesterday by Collin Burris. He brought his time down to 16:24.

Coach Rick Stove is hopeful that this week, his team will finally be at full strength when they head to Culver for another tough Invitational.
