Tennis Team Picks Up Two More Wins

The North Central men's tennis team defeated Brebeuf Tuesday by a 4 to 1 score.  In singles play NC won all 3 matches in straight sets.  Riley Reist won at #1 by a 6-3, 6-0 score.  JJ Kroot was a 6-4, 6-4 winner and Rudolph Frazier won by set scores of 6-3, 6-0.

At #1 Doubles Ari Gerstein & JJ Kroot lost their match 3-6, 6-3, 3-6, while the #2 Doubles team of Patrick McAuley & William Refies easily won def 6-2, 6-2.

The NC JV tennis team also defeated Brebeuf 11-3, and the freshman team beat Zionsville 3-2.

On Wednesday, Dan Brunette's number one ranked Panthers knocked off Guerin by a 5-0 count.

Brunette mixed up the line up a bit with the #1 Singles spot being played by Rudy Frazier who defeated Guerin's Matthew Moe 6-4, 6-2.  At #2 Singles JJ Kroot defeated Jake Dunbar 6-0, 6-1, and at #3 Singles Cole Fairfield won over Cam Metzger 6-0, 6-2.

The #1 Doubles spot was played by Ari Gerstein & JT Wynne who won their match def 6-1, 6-0.

The #2 Doubles team of Patrick McAuley & William Reifeis won in two sets also, 6-1, 6-2.
