Home » General NewsNC Men's Soccer UpdateSeptember 4, 2012 Indianapolis North Central High SchoolA week ago, the North Central Men’s Soccer team had a tough 1-0 lose to the Center Grove Trojans. The Panthers played a solid, hard-fought first half. The second half was more of the same even though there was a goal scored by the Trojans. The Panther’s next match was away against Fishers High School. The Panthers again took the field against Fishers. The Panthers go off to a slow start and let the Tigers get the first goal. But the Panthers turned it around quickly with a goal soon after the Tiger's goal. The second half was a good half for NC as they controlled the game, which ended with a 1-1. tie. Over the weekend the Panthers took the field against two MIC opponents in Terre Haute North and South. In the morning the Panthers played South. North Central managed to stay calm and control the flow of the game entering half with a 3-0 lead. The second half was much of the same story and the Panthers came away with an 8-1 win. The afternoon game was much of the same with the Panthers completely dominating the game. The final score ended with a 6-2 victory for North Central. There are only two MIC games left, Warren Central and the always-dangerous Carmel Greyhounds.
