LOGANSPORT — It was another outstanding year for cross country runners from Cass County.

Logansport’s boys team won its first sectional title since 1969 and advanced to the semistate as a team for the second straight year. Also on the boys side, Pioneer sophomore Dylan Bice advanced to the semistate and Caston freshman Seth Cousins advanced to the regional level for the first time in their young careers.

The Berries lead the way with five all-county selections in seniors Jon Flory and Chris Espinoza and sophomores Tate Gellinger, Travis Palmer and Kyle Jordan. Pioneer’s Bice and Caston’s Cousins are also all-county selections.

On the girls side, Logan enjoyed its best season in years and advanced to the regional as a team. Lewis Cass also had three girls advance to the regional in senior Sharaya Woodmansee, junior Jenna Yeakley and sophomore Gabi Carney, who are all all-county selections along with junior teammate Breanne Robertson. The Berries have four all-county selections as well in seniors Kelsey Hosler and Bailey McIntire, junior Carina Lange and sophomore Megan Martin.

The following are capsules of the all-county team, girls first, in alphabetical order.
