PERU — As ugly as the first game was, the first win was as pleasing to the eyes for Logansport football fans.
Logan throttled Peru 28-7 Friday night for the first win in the Brad Urban era. The Berries will take a 1-1 record into next week’s North Central Conference opener against Huntington North.
The Berries dominated statistically, outgaining the Tigers 383-75 in total yardage for the game, including 332-61 on the ground.
Bo Bullard rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries to lead the Berries. Isaac Eastburn added 94 yards rushing, and Jacob Shelton had 41 yards on the ground and a score.
Nate Bullard had a sack and then a blocked punt that led to a Logan score. He added six solo tackles, as did Braxton Berkshire, who had four tackles for a loss. Khalil Carter added a sack.
