Bryan Zehner dropped just one game the entire day — in the first set against Muncie Central — at No. 1 singles for the Berries (3-0 overall). Cory Rozzi dropped just two games the entire day at No. 2 singles, both in the first set against Muncie Central. Owen Swartzell won 6-4, 7-5 against Muncie Central and 6-4, 6-2 against Richmond at No. 3 singles. Dustin Clements and Luke Vernon split a pair of three-set matches on the day at No. 1 doubles. They won 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 against Muncie Central and were defeated 6-2, 3-6, 7-5 against Richmond. Nathaniel King and Lucas Eastburn were undefeated on the day at No. 2 doubles, defeating Muncie Central by injury default after leading 5-4 in the first set and defeating Richmond 6-4, 6-3. “It was an outstanding day for Cory Rozzi and Bryan Zehner,” Logan coach Mike Montgomery said. “I’m very pleased with the way Lucas Eastburn and Nathaniel King played in the Richmond match. Owen Swartzell had a solid day. “It was a good way to start the conference off.”
