Here's a look at several outstanding players to watch during the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship, getting underway this week in Salina, Kansas.
Ska'Kayla Caples
Trinity Valley Community College, Texas
Caples led Trinity Valley to a No. ranking in the final regular season poll and the top seed in the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament. The 5-11 forward is averaging 19 points and nearly 6 rebounds per game.
Chasity Kearney
Meridian Community College, Miss.
A 5-11 forward, Kearney leads Meridian Community College in scoring with 20 points per game. The sophomore is also stellar on the glass, averaging 14 rebounds per contest.

Jefferson leads Jefferson College in scoring at 18 points a game. The 6-0 forward, who hails from LaVergne, TN, also averages 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
Aubry Boehme
Otero Junior College, Colo.
A 6-0 center, Boehme averaged 17 points and 6 rebounds en route to the NJCAA District I Championship. The sophomore shoots 57% from the field and 77% from the free throw line.
