Nimitz win in a big homecoming game against Grapevine.

Nimitz quarterback Adam Charles had a huge night as he passed for 327 yards and four touchdowns.
 

Irving Nimitz took a 7-0 lead when J.J. Gaines sprinted 34 yards for the score, but Grapevine answered with a 6-yard scoring run from Brett Harbin.


Irving Nimitz regained the lead early in the second quarter when Gaines sprinted 45 yards for the score, but Grapevine tied it, 14-14, on a short touchdown run by Rafael Cortes.


Irving Nimitz took the lead for good when Tareyton Banks exploded through the line of scrimmage for a 46-yard touchdown run.
