Irving Nimitz took advantage of seven turnovers, four in the first half, and converted two fourth downs into touchdowns to defeat North Crowley, 38-20, at Irving Schools Stadium.

In the first half, quarterback Adam Charles was 13-for-16 for 164 and two touchdowns. Trei Lewis caught four passes, two for touchdowns, both on fourth down. The second was a one-handed catch for a 50-yards score.

After defensive lineman Daniel Flores recovered a fumble on North Crowley's second
play, JJ Gaines capped a three-play drive with an 11-yard run on from the right side. Gaines also intercepted two passes in the first half, one setting up a 38-yard field goal by Everardo Reyes.

North Crowley cut the lead to 17-7 when Chris Mike caught a Josh Price pass for a 92 yard touchdown.
