Girls capture EKC title for first time

The Nicholas County Girls' Golf team girls golf team won the EKC Conference Tourney August 31, for the first time ever.
The teams in the Eastern Kentucky Conference that participated were: Nicholas County, Bath County, Morgan County, East and West Carter, Rowan County, Lewis County and Raceland. W
Scores for the NCHS girls were: Haley McConnell 49 Madeline Gallagher 52 Kendall Wills 54 Hannah Coldiron 55 Brandy Norman 58
Both NCHS Girls' and Boys' teams won the All A Regional last Tuesday advancing to the All A State on September 12th in Richmond, the girls will play at Gibson Bay Golf Course
