Seven courses will be reviewed in 2012, LTC 612, 613, 614, and 608 will be reviewed in February and LTC 700, 701 and 790 will be reviewed in July. Please investigate our 90 minute and 4 hour staff in-service modules; they are great opportunities for school districts to utilize.
Hall of Fame categories now consist of two areas; Pre-1977 Category and Post 1977 Category. A state can nominate one person in each category every year.
Grant Opportunities with PlexPave-PlexiTrac, a $30,000 grant is available for a new track or resurfacing of an existing track. The application deadline is February 1 for each year.
We are pleased to announce a new sponsor agreement with Riddell effective Jan 1, 2011.
The NFHS and the NIAAA have partnered to produce Public Service Announcements (PSA). These PSA’s tout the benefits of Education Based Athletics. They are professional produced and state specific. Ask your state association office to inform you when they become available, and please help us get the word out in our communities.

The NIAAA has approved the cost of replacing LTC Course certificates to individuals at $10 for electronic copies and $15 for a mailed hard copy. Please remind individuals taking LTC courses to pick up their certificates after completing courses and to make copies for their files so they do not have to order them at a later date for a fee.
The scholarship committee finalized a checklist and application form for the NIAAA Scholarship Award. The checklist will hopefully help you with the process of promoting and selecting your NIAAA Scholarship Award Winners. As we discussed at our Sectional meeting, I encourage all states to make a consecrated effort in participation of student/athletes in each state.
