Newtown Girls lose at home

Yesterday evening, the girls faced North-Harrsion, another top contender in the HDC. The game was very close through 6 of the 7 innings. The Lady Tigers were playing solid and believed that they could pull the win off. The Lady Tigers were up going into the 7th inning by one run. North-Harrison got the bats going and drove in a few key runs. The Lady Tigers could have prevented those runs without the late errors they had on defense. It was a tough loss for the Lady Tigers losing 2-7. However, there is still a shot at redemption because the Lady Tigers will face North Harrison again for 1st in the HDC conference tournament.
