New Newton HS and Rams Basketball Will Host the 2014 Region Tournament

Newton High School will not only play in their brand new gym on the campus of the new Newton High School next year, but the Rams will now also host the 2014 Region 2-AAAAAA Basketball tournament.  At the March region coaches meeting, Newton High School was unanimously selected to host the tournament.  The Rams look forward to showing off their new school and hosting the competitive tournament.  The Rams have won 2 of the last 4 region tournaments and return 3 starters next season, and the Lady Rams finished as region runner-up this season and return nearly all their team, so look for Newton High School to represent well in 2013-14.
