LEXINGTON, KY -- iHigh.com® and the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) today announced a partnership between the two organizations in an effort to build more interest and recognition for the conference, its member schools and its student-athletes. This new partnership will be called the AAC Broadcast Network.
Through the use of iHigh's feature-rich platform the AAC and its 11 member schools will have the ability to broadcast their events to fans all over the world - including broadcasting to mobile devices.
The AAC Broadcast Network website will include live and archived broadcasts, videos, photos and articles from member AAC institutions.
The AAC is an NAIA conference with eleven members in six Southeastern States: Bryan College (Tenn.), Columbia College (S.C.), Milligan College (Tenn.), Montreat College (N.C.), Point University (G.), Reinhardt University (Ga.), SCAD Atlanta (Ga.), St. Andrews University (N.C.), Tennessee Wesleyan College, Union College (Ky.), and Virginia Intermont College. Truett-McConnell College (Ga.) will join the Conference in 2013-14.
"The AAC is very excited to launch a new broadcast network in partnership with iHigh," said AAC Commissioner John Sullivan. "By broadcasting our games live over the Internet, we will extend our reach around the world to family, fans and friends of our member institutions. Over time we hope to broadcast most of our Conference contests and championship tournaments free of charge."
"iHigh.com is very excited to partner with AAC and its 11 member schools," said Jim Host, CEO of iHigh.com. "We look forward to increasing the AAC's visibility, while also forging new avenues of revenue opportunities for the conference and its member schools.
