In the fifth, the Dragons added three more runs, with Jason Hall-Manley hitting a leadoff double, Evan Vance following with a single and Wes McBride driving both in with a double. He would later score on an RBI grounder by Cameron Clark.
Connor Swain allowed eight hits and two earned runs in six-plus innings to get the pitching victory.
At the plate, Vance was 3-3 with two runs, two stolen bases and two RBI. McBride was 2-3 with two runs. Butcher was 1-2 with an RBI, two runs and was hit by pitches twice. Cameron Clark had two RBI, as did Swain. Evan Hickman was 2-3 with a double, helping pace a 13-hit attack.
