BA: Extra-base hits carry Dragons to 10-3 win

Extra-base hits carried the New Palestine baseball team to a 10-3 victory over Connersville Thursday afternoon.
The Dragons' 12-hit attack included three doubles and five triples. They helped lead to a seven-run first inning that set the stage for the win.
Nick Butcher led the game off with a bunt single and later hit two triples. He went 3-4, scored twice and drove in two runs. His second triple was a key part of a three-run third inning.
Keegan Watson also had a double, a triple, two runs and an RBI. Connor Swain also had a big day at the plate, with two doubles, a triple and two RBI. Cameron Clark also hit a triple and scored twice. Logan Gilvin and Steven Clark also had hits for the Dragons.
Hogan Fulkerson threw a complete game, allowing three eanred runs, five hits and striking out five.
The Dragons are now 9-5 and travel to Yorktown for a Friday doubleheader.
