Trimpe, Gish have strong nights vs. New Castle

Erin Trimpe and Grant Gish were all multiple-winners in the Dragons' dual swim meet with New Castle on Wednesday. Each were triple-winners in the meet.

The Dragon boys fell 98-83, while the Dragon girls fell 97-88.

Gish led a pair of 1-2 finishes, with Jake Mitchell in the 50 freestyle and with Joey Rogers in the 100 freestyle. Gish also teamed with Mitchell, David Thompson and Chris Dodd to win the 200 free relay.

In the girls meet, Trimpe was part of two winning relays and also won the 100 breaststroke.
She teamed with Kayla Jameson, Claire Hornsby and Rachel Wineman in the 200 medley relay, and with Wineman, Addison Virt and Kenzie Wells in the 200 free relay.

Also for the Dragon girls, Virt and Kara Mustard went 1-2 in the 100 butterfly. Runner-up finishes went to Trimpe in the 200 IM, Virt in the 50 freestyle, Wells in the 500 frestyle and Shannon Jones in diving.

The other winner for the Dragon boys was diver Conner Page. Individual seconds went to Dodd in the 100 breaststroke, Mitchell in the 100 backstroke, Sutton Biddle in the 500 freestyle and Todd Horn in the 100 butterfly.
