NP gymnastics improves to 16-0

New Palestine's gymnastics team improved to 16-0 on the year with a tri-meet victory over Hagerstown and Muncie South. NP scored 102.575 points, Hagerstown 98.025 and Muncie South 49.8.
Kenzi Hoffman won the all-around with 35.275 points. She was the winner on vault (9.25) and balance beam (8.975). She also placed second on floor and third on uneven bars.
Kaytlin Fee scored an 8.9 on the floor exercise to lead a top-three sweep in that event, with Hoffman and Annabelle Dockins finishing second and third. Fee was second in the all-around with a second-place finish on bars, sixth on beam and sixth on vault.
Shelly Huesman was the individual winner on bars with a score of 8.525, leading a top-four sweep by Dragons in that event. Fee, Hoffman and Dockins took the next three positions.
Also for NP, Dockins was third on vault. Ciarra Hough was fourth on beam. Huesman was tied for sixth on beam.
Huesman was fourth and Dockins sixth in all-around.
The Dragons travel to the Bloomington North Invitational Saturday.
