Concert Band Goes for Highest Honors!

By Megan Mattingly of Nelson County High SchoolThe Nelson County High School Concert Band received a distinguished rating in the Kentucky Music Educators Association State Concert Band Festival at the University of Louisville on May 10th. The Concert Band performed in front of three college professors from the University of Tennessee, Indiana State University, and the University of Virginia; every judge gave the band a distinguished rating (the highest honors the band could receive).
