The N.D.H.S. Booster Club proudly announces for the second year in a row, The 2010 “The North Dallas High School Uptown Car Show.”

Featuring Horizon Entertainment's top two D.J.'s Shon-C and Jazzy J. Combined, they will bring a variety of music and be a big part of the entertainment menu on Saturday, October 9th.

Festivities begin at 10:00 am kicking off with the North Dallas J.R.O.T.C. 4th Battalion following the command of Battalion Commander Melissa Perez and lead by the Spence Jr. High Color Guard. The J.R.O.T.C. Flag team will raise colors and all will salute to the America's National Anthem sung by Ms. Kanetta Edwards.

Live Entertainment will include school dance groups headed by Charles “C.J.” Johnson on the school steps during the car show.

Performances by: The B-Boys, The Asian Cultural Club, Cheerleaders W/ Spike the Bulldog Mascot and others. Student and Alumni Food, Information and Merchandise stands will line Haskell Avenue in front of the school to give event guest's a Texas State Fair atmosphere.

Our Mini N.D.H.S. State Fair will invite The Best Show Cars from around the Metroplex. 2009's Car Show favorites “The United Lowrider Association”, Classic Chassis Car Club and others return this year to show off their Beautiful Iron.

Top Dog, Show Sponsor K.N.O.N. 89.3 Community Radio will be airing live from Parking Lot 1. Special thanks to all the Sponsors who make this show as good as the cars and entertainment. Ed Enriquez', State farm Insurance, Church of the Incarnation, Buffalo Wild Wings (Lemmon Ave) , Kwik Kar Lube and Service (Fitzhugh) and others. Dallas County Community College District (Eastfield and El Centro) will set up to tell ALL about advanced college opportunities for interested event goers'.

If for some reason HOT CARS don't interest you? How about HOT HITTERS!! Softball Coach Chris Barnhill will hold a “Homerun Derby” on the school's Softball Field behind the school, beginning at 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. Future College Softball hitters (The Lady Bulldogs) will compete on WHO can hit the longest “Grapefruit”/ Softball into Cole Park.

IF that's not enough? Santa Clause along with the “Torques Car Club” will be returning to Judge the whole reason of the show. Must register to be Judged. The earlier you receive your window sticker the earlier the judges have to make a final decision on Best of Show, Best Antique, Best Lowrider, Best Bicycle, etc.

You can also be a judge . The People's Choice Award will be presented at 1:30 pm along with all the other awards.

Finally, to “End the Show” someone will win half of the 50/50 DRAWING AT 2:00 PM. Whatever is in the bucket will be split!

50% for the school and 50% for one lucky event guest entering the contest. Look for the 50/50 girl selling raffle tickets during the show.

Must stick around until the “End to Win.”

The N.D.H.S. Uptown Car Show is brought to you by the North Dallas High School Booster Club. The Booster “White Shirts” is an organization designed to assist the Entire N.D. Sports program. Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach, Mr. Ashley Moore will be present to answer any questions about raising awareness on what student athletes “Need to Succeed”. Look for Coach Moore at the Football/ Baseball booth selling Buffalo Wild Wings.
