Meet Lorinza Brown, girls basketball coach

Lorinza Brown Jr. is the North Dallas High girls varsity basketball coach, and this is his first year at ND. He took a few minutes to answer some questions about himself and this year’s varsity squad.

Number of years as a teacher? 11th year
What subjects do you teach? Digital & Interactive Media
Favorite sport: college football (Texas Longhorns)
Favorite athlete: any athlete that displays a positive attitude
Favorite team: Houston Rockets since I was old enough to remember
Favorite restaurant: Pappa’s Bros. Steakhouse (I order the Porterhouse every time)
Favorite musical group or recording artist: I have a wide range of musical interests. My favorite genre of music is Gospel with artists such Daryl Coley, Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin.
