2012 NCCA All-Star Reunions

GREENSBORO - As announced at the NCHSAA Regional Meetings, the North Carolina Coaches Association is planning to honor former All-Star players, coaches and athletic trainers at this year’s East-West All-Star Games.  Players and coaches are listed in the back of each All-Star program/yearbook and players are listed on eastwestallstars.com.

The following All-Stars will be honored this year:

Soccer All-Stars: 1992 and 2002

Basketball All-Stars: 1962 and earlier, 1972, 1982, 1992 and 2002

Football All Stars: 1962 and earlier, 1972, 1982, 1992 and 2002

After this year, honorees will be determined by using those with anniversaries with ten year multiples.

Reunion players and coaches will be the guests of the NCCA at the 2012 All-Star Games.  The Basketball All-Stars will be invited to a dinner at the Greensboro Coliseum prior to the July 16^th All-Star game.  The Soccer meal ( site TBA) will be the 17^th and Football will be in the Grimsley High School cafeteria on the 18^th.  The game and dinner will be complimentary for the All-Stars—guests may purchase game and dinner tickets. At the All-Star Game, attendees will be provided an area for socializing and at some point be introduced to the crowd.
