Tara Wolfenbarger is done with her high school volleyball career, as the Bourbon County (KY) star now turns her attention to finding herself a college home to play volleyball. Wolfenbarger tried out for the Lexington United Volleyball Club but says “They didn't have a age group for 17 year olds, so it was blended into the 18 year old group and I didn't make it.”

Wolfenbarger also attended the University of Kentucky and Morehead State volleyball camps, Wolfenbarger says the coaches told her “I was very motivated and was good at moving around the court, and also that I'm good at switching positions.” Tara increased her hitting average to 90%-100% a game this season with the direction and guidance she received from the tryouts and camps.

When it comes to recruiting Tara says “I looked at Morehead State, but I believe Lindsey Wilson is the new school I've been looking at.” The talented and very humble Bourbon County star has heard from Lindsey Wilson, Georgetown College, Cincinnati, and Xavier. Georgetown, Lindsey Wilson, and Xavier have all extended invitations for Tara to join them for their elite camps. Cincinnati has offered Tara the opportunity to come visit.
