Sports Xpress Recruiting Xclusive: McKenzie Bolden

It’s something you don’t see often in recruiting but McKenzie Bolden is making the jump from east coast to west coast. Bolden has signed to take her talents to UC-San Diego.

On her decision to go to UC-San Diego Bolden says “They have an amazing academic program, the coaching staff and the players also really stood out to me. They made me feel like a part of their family, and their facilities are extremely nice.”

Bolden is just coming off her visit to UC-San Diego which she took February 9^th-11^th of which she says “I had a really good time with the players and staff, I felt like I was already a part of the team.”

As far as players the 5’3 combo guard says she hopes to get the chance to play with at the next level is Reshaundra Owens.

The Atlanta (GA) standout is wrapping up her senior season at Holy Innocents Episcopal School , this summer she played with the Georgia Pistols Team Fitzpatrick.
