Florida State 2015 QB commit De’Andre Johnson is already doing his part in drawing more talent to Tallahassee to play alongside of him. One young man Johnson has been talking to has been 6’5 235 lbs. Houston (TX) Clear Lake TE Jordan Davis.

On his relationship with Johnson, Davis says “De’Andre Johnson would be a great player to play with on the college level, because he’s one of the best QB’s in the class and really knows how to scan the field.” As far as how he and Johnson got connected Davis says “I started talking to him when I saw he was also on the Sophomore All-American Team, ever since then we text each other a couple times a week and talk football.”

Davis list includes the likes of Oklahoma, Kansas State, Missouri, and Florida State. Davis also said he had received mail from Oregon, Indiana, UCLA, Penn State, Texas A&M, and LSU. Jordan says “By far Florida State stands out the most; Miami (FL) would be next due to the move of Coach Coley.” Another school earned mention in Oklahoma as Jordan said “OU stands out the 2nd most as well.”

Davis’ high praise of the Seminoles continued when he said “I haven’t been around a coaching staff better then FSU’s because they don’t only worry about my athletics but they also think about my #1 reason being there which is my academics.” His glowing review of the Seminoles staff didn’t stop there as he’d go on to say “The love the staff showed me, they made me feel at home, and like I could talk to them about anything and you gotta love that environment on gameday.”

Jordan visited the Seminoles for their game against Florida and says he took a tour of the campus. Oklahoma wants him to come to their spring game. Missouri and Kansas State has visited Jordan at Clear Lake and told him they would be keeping in touch.
