Sports Xpress Recruiting Xclusive: Anthony Gardner

Not everyone signing on National Signing Day will be a high school senior, but many players in next years group of fresh faces across the college football landscape will come from the JUCO route. Anthony Gardner is one of those young men.

Gardner who is now at Lawson State Community College says “I’ve been training at Sports Medicine Fitness Institution, making sure I keep my speed and strength.”

Coming out of Pleasant Grove (AL) HS, Gardner had interest from Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, Syracuse, LSU, Vanderbilt, Tennessee-Martin, and Florida State.

Facing a decision Gardner currently only has interest from Alabama A&M and Shorter College. With the talent to draw interest from those prestigious programs surely some will show some renewed interest in Anthony who hopes to sign this spring.
