Getting a kid out of Austin (TX) may be hard to do, especially with the Texas Longhorns right over his shoulder but many of the nation’s top programs will try and do just that with 6’2 223 lbs. QB Bear Fenimore from Austin’s Westwood HS. Fenimore has already heard from Alabama, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Mississippi State. UCLA, Cal, Boise State, Wake Forest, and Tulsa. During his junior season Fenimore says “I went to a Alabama, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma State game.” The talented signal caller is expected to make it up to Stillwater for the Oklahoma State junior days this weekend and Cal’s and Alabama’s junior days in February. Fenimore says “I’ve received other junior day invites; I just don’t know which other ones I’ll attend.” “I would say Oklahoma State, Cal and Alabama are recruiting me the hardest” the Texas QB says. Bear also told SX “Wake Forest came by last week about me and also my team mate (Brad Watson) is committed there for 2013. Their QB coach is coming by this week to see me and then other schools told me they are going to come visit and watch me throw.” As for players Fenimore says he’s talked about playing with at the next level he says “I’m really close to Samaje Perine and James David, and we’ve talked about playing together in college.”
