Federico Mussini caught many people’s eyes at the 2012 Jordan Brand Classic International Game, where he showed off his game. One good thing working for Federico is that he hasn’t played professionally saying “For now, I’ve only played with the youth teams.” The PG from Italy says “I would like to play college ball in the U.S.A. a lot.” To this point and time Mussini has only heard from the University of Virginia. As for the University of Virginia Mussini says “I have had the opportunity to see their website, and some highlights and it seems very good.” The Italian youngster says “I would like to visit Virginia maybe this summer, if it’s possible.” The crafty PG won’t be in the states anytime soon as he says “I think I will finish school here in Italy, then I’ll think to go away or stay here.” When/If Federico make his way to America, he has already been contacted by some prep schools one of which is Brewster Academy (NH). As for players his own age he says he would like to play with at the next level he list Marko Arapovic from Croatia, Jan Wimberg from Germany, and Berk Ugurlu from Turkey. There is one common bond between the four of these guys as they each played in the 2012 Jordan Brand International Game. “It would be amazing for me to play at a big university like Kentucky, Duke, or North Carolina that’s my dream” Mussini said in closing.
