Sports Xpress Recruiting Xclusive: Herbie Sexton

It’s still early for members of the class of 2015 but 6’0 172 lbs. Herbie Sexton is already compiling a impressive list. The PG from Schenectady (NY)’s Mekeel Academy already has heard from “Rice, Baylor, Lehigh, Azusa Pacific, Oregon State, Liberty, West Virginia, and San Diego State.

The schools that Sexton says stands out early in his recruitment are “West Virginia, Baylor, Oregon State because they have great traditions.” The schools that the youngster says are recruiting him the hardest at the current moment is Oregon State, and Liberty.

Here recently Sexton says he has spoken with coaches from West Virginia and Liberty but has no visits set up for the near future.

As for other class of 2015 stars Sexton says he wouldn’t mind playing with is Malik Newman, Stephen Zimmerman, and Diamond Stone.
