Sports Xpress Hoops Tour: Kentucky Bank Shootout

The 2^nd game of the day featured the Lincoln Co. Patriots and the Holmes Bulldogs. In the first half it seemed as if Lincoln Co. would be headed to a big win, taking a 26-22 lead into halftime. But Holmes would not go away and in the 2^nd half Holmes made all the right plays in topping the Pats 50-38.

In the 2^nd half Lincoln Co. couldn’t get anything to fall and shot at a 25% rate compared to their 50% rate at the half. While Holmes improved their FG % from 33% in the 1^st half to 47% in the 2^nd.

The Patriots were led by Jacob Conway who scored 11 points, all of which came in the first half and also B.J. Hoover who chipped in with 10. The Bulldogs of Holmes got 21 points from Sports Xpress Player of the Game Dequan Palmer and 14 from James Bolden.

With the victory Holmes improved to (6-0) while Lincoln Co. falls to (1-4).
