Sports Xpress Recruiting Xclusive: Lemond Johnson

One thing new Auburn coach Gus Malzhan must do over the next 2 months is to hold together the 2013 class that the past staff had already put together. One of those young men is 5’11 190 lbs. DB Lemond Johnson out of Cooper City (FL).

Lemond says “About 30 schools recruited me, and I have been on a lot of visits including to Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Central Florida, and Auburn.”

The talented FL DB committed to the Auburn Tigers but also said “UCLA was a pretty good visit.”

Johnson is likely expecting to hear from new Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn within the next couple of days.
