Sports Xpress Recruiting Xclusive: Javon Hadley

Everyone recruits the state of Florida, which is a big part in many of the top programs across the countries success. So it comes as no surprise that UCONN has tried reaching down in one of the more talented regions of the state which is Miami.

The Huskies struck what they’re hoping is recruiting gold at Miami’s Palmetto HS with 5’11 175 lbs. athlete Javon Hadley who will play DB or WR for the Huskies.

Hadley had other offers from “Central Florida, Utah State, Mississippi State, Florida Atlantic, South Alabama, Western Kentucky, Elon, and Western Michigan” but says he committed to UCONN because “They stood out.”

Despite his commitment to UCONN it hasn’t stopped schools from coming after the Huskies commit as he says “UCONN and Utah State are recruiting me the hardest.”

The Miami (FL) native has a official visit scheduled for this weekend to UCONN.
