El'Devonte Walden signs a national letter of intent to play basketball for MS Delta CC

JJ McClain’s Sr. Guard El’Devonte Walden signed a national letter of intent to play basketball for the Ms Delta Community College Trojans.  “Walden has been a great leader on and off the court” says, Head Coach Greenleaf, “ & deserves all the credit for his accomplishments.”  During Walden’s senior season he led the Mustangs to be #1 in the district going into the district tournament and #5 in the state.   Walden was also named as the district MVP for the 2011-2012 season.  This was a decision made by all the other coaches in Class 3A Div. 4.  El’Devonte  in their eyes made the biggest impact of all other players on their team’s success.  Walden averaged 16 pts. Per game this season shooting 65% from the field, 6 rebounds & 3 assists per game.  Walden will be looking to become the starting freshman point guard for the Trojans going into  the 2012-2013 season.
