Morrow vs Mt Zion: Along time coming

November 6, 1998 21-7. That was the last time that Morrow beat Mt. Zion. Although this has been a huge rivalry the stakes usually goes to Mt. Zion. This year may be the year that things turn back around for the Mustangs. The Morrow Mustangs are 0-7 and only scored 7 points all season. The Bulldogs are 2-5 and having its worse season since 2007. The key to this equation is the Mustangs last two games. They held the #5 team in the region to seven points and they scored their lone touchdown against the #3 team in the region. This means that the Mustangs are playing much better ball since their mid season break. On the other hand the Bulldogs only two wins came from two of the worse teams in the region. Add that all up and Morrow makes history. No one knows what really will happen on the night that the Mustangs meet the Bulldogs but we all know it will be an interesting game. Come out this Friday October 21, 2011 7:30 pm at Tara Stadium. I’m betting on Morrow in this game.
