By Chris Davis of Bishop Brossart High School

Saturday the Boys track team went back to Campbell County High School for a second time in less than a week. It was a different meet with a bigger field, but the results remained the same as the Mustangs took home the team title, easily out distancing second place St. Henry.

Gabe Roberts a track new comer this season had his best meet of the season. Gabe won the high jump with a jump of 5'10, he was second to teammate Drew Berkemeyer in the triple jump leaping over 41 feet! He also took down a 2nd place finish in the Long Jump. Roberts has been instrumental in the success this season as the team retained their number one ranking in the state.

Chris Loos also had an impressive day of relay racing. Loos led off the 4x800 with his fastest time ever with a 2:02, and it got the team going as they easily defeated St. Henry with the best time in the state so far by 18 Seconds.

Other event winners Michael Caldwell, Ronny Smith, Daniel Vogel, and Andrew Graus. Mark Goller also had a solid day in the high jump and 800. The team also boasted 4 runners under 5 minutes in the mile. Adam Hartig, Cody Chism, Nick Schuler and Ronny Smith.
