Varsity Players make the Kentucky Enquirer All Star Team

Today's Kentucky Enquirer selected the Top Fall Sports All Star Athletes. The Enquirer in their special section calls them the Legends of Fall and says "it is recognizing those athletes who stood above the rest". Bishop Brossart for the second year in a row has many names on the list.

The Varsity Boys Team won the 37th District Championship, the 10th Region Championship and the Mustangs also won the All A State Championship Title. The Mustangs finished the season at 19-5 and over the past two season have won 40 games and lost 7 and tied 1.

The Enquirer picked Coach Brian Goller as the Co-Coach of the Year along with Matthew Winkler of Highlands.

First Team was Senior, Jake Jennings. Jake the Senior striker and top scorer on the year for Brossart. Jake was recently named the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference Division II Most Valuable Player.

Second Team All Star for Brossart was Senior, Josh Keuper. Josh was the one of the defenders that only allowed 22 goals on the season.

Also on the Second Team was Senior Goalkeeper, Andrew Erickson. Andrew was the starting Goalie for Brossart this year and only allowed 6 goals on the season.

Brossart All Stars that made Honorable Mention were Seniors, Drew Berkemeyer and Eli Nienaber, Juniors, Mark Goller, John Henn, and Goalkeeper Jeff Paulin.

The Mustang Nation congratulates the players and Coach Goller for these well deserved awards.
