Alex Trentman Tops 1000

Alex Trentman surpassed the 1000 point mark, last night in the game against Harrison County.  Alex needed 19 points coming into this game.  He scored 21 points on the night, giving him 1002 points for his career.  In his freshman year, Alex scored 4 points for the varsity team.  He scored 187 during his sophomore year, while playing alongside his brother Austin.  Alex scored 397 points in his junior year, giving him a total of 588 points.  Alex needed 412 points entering into his senior year to hit the 1000 point mark.  Alex has been a marquee player all year and has been averaging 20 points per game. He had a career high 35 points against LaRue County in the Henry County Tournament.  He also had 32 points against Augusta and D1 prospect, Brent Bach.  Alex has been leading scorer for the Mustangs 17 times this season.  Congratulations to Alex Trentman.  The 17th and newest member of the Bishop Brossart 1000 point club.  Congratulations to Alex's family and his teammates.  Go Mustangs!
