Gymnastics LIVE on GHSA.tv April 27
The GHSA Gymnastics State Championship will tumble into Westminster on Fri., April 27 at 7:00 pm.  GHSA.tv will live video stream all four events on balance beam, floor exercise, uneven bars and vault.  Get full schedule and meet info.
Golf Tees Off in Augusta
Augusta welcomes the GHSA Golf State Championships hosted by the Augusta Sports Council (ASC) and EZ Go on Mon., May 7 played on 10 golf courses in the CSRA area. This is the first time that a single community has welcomed all state golf events.  See complete list of tournament venues.
Spring Playoffs Begin with Tennis
Spring playoffs in tennis have begun this week with more post-season action in soccer (May 1-4), baseball (May 4-5) and lacrosse (May 8-9) starting in early May.  View tennis playoff brackets.
Track & Field Sectionals Ready to Run
For the first time, the GHSA will hold Sectional track & field competition on Sat., April 28 to determine the qualifiers for the GHSA Track & Field State Championships.  Top four finishers from each Region will vie for a spot at the upcoming state meets in Albany (Girls: May 3-5) and Jefferson (Boys: May 10-12).  Get schedule and entry list.

The 2012 GHSA Football Schedule is now available. Football season starts on Aug. 24.....Congratulations to recent state champions in Literary and Riflery.  Literary winners included Kennesaw Mountain, Marist, Westover, Buford and Lakeview Academy.  Riflery state champions Lumpkin County edged Madison County by the narrowest of margins after a tie-breaker criteria of "inner ten" shots 46-45 determined the champion. ...Download the GHSA April "Items of Interest" with news from the March Executive Committee meeting.....Thanks in advance to our partners that activate and support the spring state championship: Georgia Army National Guard, GEMC, Georgia Farm Bureau, Verizon, Marines, Gatorade, Sports Medicine South ,Team IP and Mizuno.......Wilson is the official baseball of the GHSA....Thanks also to Wilson, who supplied commemorative golf balls for the state golf  championships....Brine is the official soccer ball of the GHSA....Mizuno is presenting sponsor of the baseball state championship....Verizon is presenting sponsor of the soccer state championships....As a Preferred Hotel Partner of the GHSA all schools, teams, officials, families and friends receive a 15% discount while staying at participating Choice Hotels.
