Literary finishes 4th at State Meet

Please congratulate the MZHS Literary Team for its success at State Championships on Saturday. They finished fourth place in the 4AAAA division. The following students received First Prize and are All-State Champions for their vocal performances:

 Boys' Quartet:

Cortez Daniel, Khalil Barrett, Mykel Perdue, and Demetrice Clemming

 Boy's Solo:

D'Andre Grayson

Please also congratulate the following students for qualifying and participating at State Championships: 

 Essay Writing: Cameron Banes

Dramatic Interpretation: Jabari Denson

Girls' Trio: Alneda McKnight, Natasha Thimas, Kayla Wilson

Team Manager: Marian Livingstone

These students performed phenomenally both on stage and off. They were independent, professional, and behaved as excellent representatives of MZHS.  Thank you to all of the teachers and staff who helped these students to succeed.
