7A Boys Win it ALL!!!

Congratulations to the 7A boys' basketball team for their awesome season of going completely undefeated!!!

The coaches worked hard to help these skilled players learn to play together and in a fashion that shows the real game of basketball. Their talents and abilities were proven on Saturday, as they defeated the Seven Lakes JH in the championship game here at home 68 to 51. 

The game was a hard fought battle with only a two point lead going into half time.  After half time adjustments, our team exploded with a scoring frenzy and excellent defense; therefore, pulling ahead with a final 17 point lead. Our team not only won the district championship but had an undefeated season by winning  eleven games.  Great job team for representing true maverick sprit.

We want to recognize the following players for their hard work throughout the year to go undefeated: Jordon Hopwood, Cedric Washington, Shawn Thomas, Melvin Payne, Alan Estupinan, Jarmal Bieniemy, Torrance Hayes, and Jonathan Lu.
