8th grade Mav Football defeat Seven Lakes

On Tuesday, October 2nd, battled on the grid iron against the Seven Lakes Spartans. Many fans came out to cheer on both teams all the way to the win.

The Morton Ranch Junior High 8C team were not laying down to the Spartans. They executed their plays and heard the yells of their coaches from the sidelines. The Mavericks defeated the Spartans by one point with a score of 7 to 6.

The 8B Maverick team were not laying down for the Spartans, either. The boys gained plenty of yardage and held their own against Seven Lakes. These Mavs came out with another close win of 7 to 6.

And, finally, the stallions on the Maverick 8A team took the field by storm to face a ready-faced Spartan team. Both teams battled to the end with the Mavericks coming out with a win of 14 to 13.
