The 8th Grade Mavs Fall hard to the Tigers

 The 8th grade Maverick (8C) team took on a very tough Katy tiger team Tuesday night.  The Maverick team showed a marked improvement over last week with a great defensive game, and solid drives on offense.  The Mavericks fell short to the Tigers 8-0.

The 8th grade Gold (8B) team played the hard hitting Tigers on Tuesday.  The Mavericks continued their great play on defense, but were unable to get into the end-zone after several good drives.  The Gold team played a great game just getting edged out in the fourth quarter 0 to 8.

The 8th grade Purple (8A) team played tough and with conviction from the opening whistle to the final horn falling to the Katy Tigers at Tiger Field. The Mavs fall short with a score of 0 to 24.
