8th Grade Football: Battle with the Bulldogs

Maverick Team

The Mavericks of Morton Ranch took on the Bulldogs of Beck on Tuesday night.  The mighty maverick team played hard all four quarters, but fell short to the bulldogs in their first game of the year.

Gold Team

The Gold team of Morton Ranch pounded the dogs of Beck in a 27-0 victory in their first game of the year.  The offense was firing on all cylinders, with great blocking by the o-line and great runs by the backs.  The defense played shut-out ball with great work by the linebackers and d-line.

Purple Team

The Purple Team fought from the opening whistle to the final buzzer in a tough loss in their first game of the year, 16-13.  The offense controlled the ball and put together some long drives, and the defense stifled the bulldogs running game.
