The Future: Alando Lil Duck Richards and AJ McKissic
September 16, 2011By Anthony McKissic Sr. of Morrow High School
The high school basketball and football world has approximately eleven years left before the takeover. What take over you may ask. The return of Alando Richards and AJ McKissic is soon coming. Many are called but two are chosen. The prophecy has been answered. These two guys have been in the gym since the tender age of ten, ten weeks that is. Let’s take a closer look at these two players.
In your left corner standing 3’6 and 50lbs in the Griffin Grasshopper fitted cap is Alando “Lil Duck” Richards. Lil Duck is from Griffin, Ga where his father Duck Richards is a well known basketball coach. Lil Duck has been putting up shots since he was a toddler. He has been spotted in photos with several NBA players with the likes of JR Smith, Josh Smith, and Josh Petteway. Lil Duck plans to attend Auburn University and shatter every record in the books.
In the right corner standing 2’3 25lbs soaking wet in the rain you have AJ McKissic. AJ McKissic is a hard nose football player with a no nonsense no excuse attitude. AJ has been committed to Auburn University since the age of one. He was born in Riverdale, Ga but claims Opelika, Al as his home. AJ McKissic is the son of one of the most hated coaches in Clayton County, Morrow High’s Mac McKissic. There are two things the citizens of Clayton County hate most. First is the loss of equity in homes and a close second is Coach Mac McKissic. AJ is a dual sport athlete but spends most of his time on the football field. AJ has been spotted at several Auburn University football games and was last seen holding up Cam Newton’s Heisman trophy.
These two guys are destin for greatness. Proverbs 22:6 says “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” AJ and Lil Duck have definitely been trained up in a good way and they will be a household name one day. When that day comes make sure you remember you heard it here first
