Mills Comets varsity boys get their first win of the season at the Galaxy. This win came at the hands of Sylvan Hills High (3-6), by a score of 58-48. This game wasn't that close until the 4th quarter when our Comets had some mental lapses late in the third quarter that allowed Sylvan hills to shrink the lead to 4. The game remained close until the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter when Omar Avance then Junior Brandon Hansberry went on a run for 8 straight points to spark a Comet 11-0 run and this is when the crowd started to file out of the building because they knew the game was over.
