The Comets led 19-7 deep into the third quater and gave up 21 unanswered points. Floyd Pugh scored on a 56 yard run, Omar Avance threw a TD Pass to Jaylen Clark at the end of the first half. Dewayne Davis scored on a redzone run in the third quarter. Penalties and misques hindered the Comets in the second half. The Comets fumbled on its opening drive on the three yard line, but one of the biggest plays of the night came on a punt in the fourth quarter. The Comets were trailing by 3 when a punt hit one of our players in the back and Sylvan Hills recovered it with 6 minutes left in the game. This turnover led to the final touchdown of the game that put it out of reach. The Comets are now 3-2 (1-1) and they gear up for Homecoming this week agaisnt NorthPulaski.
