Miller Grove Varsity Baseball Team Keeps the Ws Coming

Miller Grove Wolverines led by Coach Canty continues to put up impressive numbers on March 5, 2012 faced Stone Mountain High School for the second time of the season. They continued to play an all- around game with the final score ending up at 21 to 2. The team flourished offensively recording an amazing 20- hit performance. Senior Dominique Flynn was on the mound and held control the whole game. Flynn recorded 5 strikeouts, allowed four hits, and gave up two walks. Sophomore Juan Hambrick earned the save with two strikeouts. The offensive force was led by Senior Greg Robinson who went 4 for 4 on the day. Robinson was only a double away from completing the cycle. Sophomore Quinten Turner had a remarkable day at the plate with a solo HR in the second inning. Sean Charleston was also weapon, going 3 for 4 with 3 stolen bases. Miller Grove looks to continue their wins currently at 4-0 by facing McNair High School March 7, 2012 @ Miller Grove High School.
