LIMA – The University of Northwestern Ohio softball team added another local talent when Kylie Snyder of Parkway High School signed with the Lady Racers on Wednesday. Snyder, a senior at Parkway, has already won 8 varsity letters in three sports, three in both softball and basketball and two in volleyball. Last year she was named first-team All-Midwest Athletic Conference in softball when she hit .339 with 25 RBIs, 23 runs and went 5-1 off the mound, and second-team All-MAC as a sophomore when she hit .302 with 26 RBIs, 16 runs and a 3-3 record as a pitcher. “Kylie is one of the first area kids that we saw last spring and knew she would be a great fit for our program,” UNOH coach Tracy Coffman said. “She will have a tremendous work ethic here after being a three-sport athlete throughout her high school career. Kylie comes from an excellent high school program and we are looking for her to help us in many areas. She is a very strong athlete who can hit, play the infield and pitch.” ![]()
